What are the lashes made from?

PBT blend fibers, they are a synthetic fiber. They are heated and treated with formulations that give appearance and feel of mink or silks, faux mink or Siberian mink. They are lightweight and flexible.

What do you use to glue lash extensions on?

An adhesive made with cyanoacrylate. It never touches the skin.

If I am allergic to latex can I wear them?

Yes, there is no latex in our lash adhesive.

Can I go swimming?

Yes, after 24 hours.  Water and swimming will not affect your lashes but when water gets in your eyes, blot them dry and avoid rubbing them.

How long do lash extensions last?

They will last until your natural lash sheds, around 3-5 weeks. You have approximately 150 follicles in your upper lash line and approximately 70 in your lower lash line. They grow and shed at different rates. There is the anagen phase, which we refer to as baby hairs. Then there is the catagen phase, which we call the teenagers and the telogen phase, or the adult hairs. The baby hairs are too weak so we try to use the teenage hairs and the adults. On a daily basis, you will be shedding lashes. It is healthy and normal to lose between 1 and 5 natural lashes per day. If you are losing more than 5 extensions per day and/or the extensions are shedding without being attached to the natural lash, let your lash technician know right away.

What is the maintenance?

We recommend you get a fill every 2 to 3 weeks to keep them looking full and beautiful.

Will extensions damage my lashes?

They will not damage your eyelashes if they are applied correctly. Choosing the proper curl and diameter and using the right amount of adhesive prevents damage, so be sure to find a professional and certified lash artist.

Can I wear makeup with extensions?

You can wear eyelash extension safe liner with a felt tip pen.  Avoid wax pencils, gel pot liners and waterproof mascara.  You can apply eyelash extension safe mascara on classic lashes (lightly on tip of lashes, never on the base).  Avoid wearing mascara on volume lashes as it will cause all the fans to close up.  Gently clean lashes daily with an oil-free foaming lash cleanser.  Avoid using cotton on the extensions to prevent the fibers getting caught on the extensions.

Can I use an eyelash curler on my extensions?

No, there will be no need, because they come in different curls to give you the look you want without an eyelash curler. If you do use one it will cause lash damage.

How long does it take to apply a full set?

Depending on what style you choose, classic, volume or custom, it can take up to 2 to 3 hours for a full set and up to 2 hours for fills.

How should I sleep?

We recommend sleeping on your back. If you’re a side sleeper we recommend using a silk lash pillow or an eye mask designed for lash extensions.

What is the difference between Classic and Volume?

Classic lashes are a one-to-one. Meaning one lash extension applied to one mature natural lash.  Volume lashes are handmade fans of 2 or more very lightweight extensions. Volume gives a fluffier full appearance, hence the name Volume!

Can I trim my lashes or trim my extensions?

No, trimming your lash extensions runs the risk of trimming your natural lashes. Plus extensions are tapered at the end so they already come to a point. If you feel that your lashes are too long you may need to ask your artist to go shorter!
